Ms. Claudia Lezell’s Bibliography
Ms. Claudia Lezell holds a degree in education, and her years of teaching experience have exposed her to a variety of methods of instructing techniques. As a result, these techniques have enabled her to write goals, curriculum, examinations, and educational materials to meet various educational needs.
Ms. Lezell has owned and did run a full-time retail flooring and interior design establishment since 1983. She exposed herself to a broad scope of practical aspects and flooring and interior design applications during that period.
Since 1995, Ms. Lezell has owned and operated Inspections Too, Inc., a full-time flooring inspection, consulting, and expert witness service. The technical training Ms. Lezell has received over the years and various certifications she holds as a full-time floor-covering inspector have also provided Ms. Lezell with an enormous landscape of technical background. Ms. Lezell also pays close attention to the ever-changing industry. She is constantly seeking educational opportunities and various proper certifications to enable her to keep up with the ever-changing times. This experience has taught her to educate interior designers, architects, engineers, consultants, specifiers, and floor covering contractors.
Ms. Lezell’s extensive work as part of numerous forensic floors covering failure teams has also given her “direct” experience in many major floor failure cases. Ms. Lezell has also had the privilege to work with some of the most recognized, published, and experienced technical experts in the field.
Ms. Lezell has also spearheaded and led the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICR) Hard Surface certification Floor Covering Inspector Program since 1996 and has taken part in a variety of floors covering specifications and construction-related technical committees. Ms. Lezell is the Past Vice-Chair of the IICRC Out Reach committee and Hard Surface Standards.
Ms. Lezell has actively lectured at national, regional conferences and flooring trade shows and planned and conducted technical seminars designed to educate associates and members of the various inter-related industries.
Ms. Lezell was also published in an IICRC peer-reviewed technical journal and was recently nominated for FEWA Member Spotlight.
