Matthew Bruno has been working in the construction industry for most of his life. Over the past 18 years, he has dedicated his career to the flooring industry. Matthew started his company, Palermo Flooring, in 2004. Matthew was a young and ambitious entrepreneur who started his business at age 17. Palermo Flooring continues to be a successful and growing company. Matthew’s knowledge of construction comes from building custom homes, new construction, and remodeling.

Matthew has furthered his experience and education by receiving certifications as an NWFA installer, sand and refinisher, sales advisor, and inspector. Matthew is a member of the emerging leader council for the NWFA. Matthew has been featured in Hardwood Floors magazine as one of the top 40 industry professionals under the age of 40.

Matthew is also certified by Bona as an installer and sand and refinisher. Matthew has achieved hardwood flooring, luxury vinyl, carpet, and laminate inspector certifications through IFCII for residential and commercial projects.

Matthew is the founder of National Floor Inspectors Inc., a flooring inspection and consulting company. As a consultant and inspector, Matthew works with architects, designers, builders, developers, distributors, installers, and homeowners to select suitable flooring material for their projects and conduct thorough investigations when needed.
