Chance Hodgson is a career floor-covering expert in Boise, Idaho. A husband, father, and soon-to-be grandfather, Chance began his career working for his father and mother in a retail floor-covering store, which he helped expand to a second location. While working in the family business, Chance learned all aspects of the industry, including installation, repairs, marketing, management, and finance.

At the closing of that business after 39 years, Chance started selling floor coverings for a multi-state home furnishing store while at the same time furthering his education in floor covering by expanding his expertise to include inspection of all floor types, carpet, vinyl, LVT, ceramic tile and wood.

Chance has been educated for inspections through IFCII, CFIU, IICRC, NALFA, and FCITS. He holds certifications for carpet and hard surfaces with IFCII, CFIU, IICRC, and NALFA.

Chance inspects flooring for many companies, manufacturers, and private individuals in the Pacific Northwest, including Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, northern Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
