Ed started his career with Shaw Industries as an Operations Manager in North Georgia. In 1998, Dupont Flooring System recruited him to be a Regional Operations Manager. He was eventually promoted to National Vice President of Maintenance Operations, opening and supporting over 100 locations across the U.S. After his career with DuPont, he started three successful commercial flooring companies in Atlanta. Two are regional, and one is a national company. He decided to step away from the day-to-day operations of those companies to focus on floor inspections and floor safety.
