What you need to know
Footprints and indentations can occur when furniture, boxes, rolling traffic, and any objects with weight compresses the pile yarns and cushion. Indentations are unavoidable in rooms with furniture. They are a characteristic of some fibers – e.g., olefin, acrylic, or blends; or even polyester, nylon, and wool when furniture is rearranged or moved. Rolling traffic from vacuum cleaners, walkers, wheelchairs, etc. can result in temporary indentations. Most of these types of indentations will recover after ….
