What you need to know
Latex Encapsulation of the yarn bundle is the term used to describe the latex that surrounds the yarn at its midpoint. This part of the yarn is secured between the primary and secondary carpet backings. There are two main reasons for the yarn bundle. 1) To secure the tufts into the bed of latex between the primary and secondary backings. 2) To encapsulate and penetrate the yarn to prevent the filaments from slipping out.
