What you need to know

This occurs during seam construction when an excessive amount of sealer contaminates the face yarns of the carpet. This can result in the following undesired appearance conditions:
1. Hard spots along the seam.
2. A dark line caused by soil sticking to the seam sealer.
3. Distortion of the seam from tufts being pulled down into the sealer. This results in a lack of fullness at the surface of the carpet.
