I am a National Wood Flooring Association Certified Inspector. Here is the link to my certifications.
NWFA Profile
Through the NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association), I am certified in Wood Flooring Installation, Sand and Finisher, Sales advisor and as a Wood Flooring Inspector.
My additional certifications not relating to inspections:
I am a bona certified craftsman, and a woca european oil certified finisher.
My involvement in the hardwood flooring industry began as a child. I grew up in a family owned custom hardwood flooring company in Houston. My path began as a teenager working summers, and after college flooring became my full time career.
In the fall of 2010 I made the decision to leave the family business and branch out into my own venture. I started Greater Houston flooring, a full service custom hardwood flooring company, which is still in operation now.
I always took an investigative approach to my flooring projects, and quickly grew a reputation as a contractor to call to remediate problems homeowners were facing on their existing flooring.
In 2021 I became involved with the NWFA certification program, and decided to begin the track to obtaining the Inspector certification. I began attending certification courses, webinars, and trade shows. To expand my knowledge of the trade and become an expert in my field.
My lifetime of hands on experience combined with the technical NWFA training I have received have given me the tools to write detailed, and accurate reports.
