I have been installing hard surface flooring since 1983. I have had my C15 California State Contractors license since 1988. I received my hard surface inspectors certifications in 2017 from Inspector Training Services in Dalton, Georgia. Owner/Installer of Stackhouse Floor Coverings established in 1988 to present. I have over 40 years experience installing hard surface floor coverings. I am still doing installations of hard surface flooring, including luxury vinyl floors, sheet vinyl, laminate and engineered hardwood. I have many years of experience with installation and floor prep for hard surface flooring. Was certified to inspect hard surface flooring in 2017. I started CDS HARDSURFACE INSPECTIONS in 2017.A typical inspection consists of a visit to the installation site, do a series of tests of the site conditions (humidity, room temp, substrate moisture, exterior grading etc). Will check to see if proper industry standards/manufacturer guidelines were followed for the installation of the flooring in question. Check for any manufacturer defect with the installed flooring. I will provide a written report with the findings of the tests that were performed, pictures of flooring and the concerns with the flooring and in almost all cases a conclusion for the concern.
