Ed started his career with Shaw Industries as an Operations Manager in North Georgia. In 1998, Dupont Flooring System recruited him to be a Regional Operations Manager. He was eventually promoted to National Vice President of Maintenance Operations, opening and supporting over 100 locations across the U.S. After his career with DuPont, he started three successful commercial flooring companies in Atlanta. Two are regional, and one is a national company. Game Day Floors focused on gym floor maintenance, recoating, sand & finish, and installation. Tekclean, USA focused our specialty skills in the data center and clean room environment. FloorCare Specialists is a commercial flooring maintenance and installation company. He decided to step away from the day-to-day operations of those companies to focus on commercial, residential, and gym floor inspections and floor safety.

​ Moisture testing (ASTM F1869, ASTM F2170, ASTM F2659)​

​The ASTM F2170 standard mandates that the bottom of the test holes and sleeves be within a tight tolerance of a specific percentage depth (20 or 40%) of the concrete slab thickness. Without accurate concrete thickness measurements, the in situ RH concrete testing could produce inaccurate data that can result in flooring failures and compromise flooring product warranties.​
